JONATHAN STRINGFIELD is a research, marketing, and revenue executive specializing in technology, digital advertising, gaming, and social media. He is the author of Get In The Game: How to Level Up Your Business with Gaming, Esports, and Emerging Technologies. 

In his current role of VP Global Business Strategy, Analytics, and Trust at Microsoft Advertising, where he is charged with aligning customer, product, and business goals by empowering data-driven decisions through deep technical, product, policy, and analytical understanding. Previously, Jonathan was VP, Global Business Research & Marketing at Activision Blizzard where he led the global team responsible for creating impactful in-game advertising experiences, supplying studio teams with evidence-based insights to drive innovation, and delivering industry-leading research and measurement solutions while driving best-in-class marketing activations. Prior to this Jonathan was a pre-IPO leader at Facebook in Twitter, and be began his career leading demographic research for Nielsen’s TV and media research services.

Jonathan is a regularly published contributor/speaker who has been featured in The Wall Street Journal and authored bylines in TechCrunch, AdWeek and Venturebeat focusing on the intersection of gaming, business and consumer research. He holds a PhD in Quantitative Sociology and was named on The AdWeek’s Top 50 in 2023, honoring executives who are innovating, collaborating and driving
